1. Who we are
DreamSpace (DreamSpace: AI Interior Design) is an iPhone app by Melih Arık, Türkiye. This policy explains what the app sends, to whom, and how long it is kept. Contact: apps@meliharik.dev.
2. Your room photos
You take a photo with the camera or choose one from your photo library. When you tap Generate Design the app does the following:
- It uploads the photo to our Firebase project (Google Cloud Storage for Firebase), named after the time of upload.
- It sends a link to that photo to Replicate (replicate.com), the AI service that runs the interior design model (adirik/interior-design). The request also contains a text prompt built from the room type and your description. Replicate downloads the photo through the link and returns the generated image.
- It downloads the generated image from Replicate and stores a copy in our Firebase Cloud Storage.
- It saves a design record in Cloud Firestore with your anonymous user ID, the room type, your description, the link to the generated image and the time, and adds the design to your user record.
3. Content of your photos
Room photos can show personal belongings, documents or people by accident. Please do not photograph people and leave out anything private. We do not use the photos to identify anyone or for advertising.
4. How long data is kept
The app does not delete uploaded room photos or generated images on a schedule, so they are kept in Firebase Cloud Storage until we delete them. The app does not ask Replicate to delete the request; Replicate handles it under its own terms and privacy policy.
Delete All Data in Settings clears the app's preferences on your phone and deletes your design records in Cloud Firestore, which empties your History. It does not delete the image files in Cloud Storage, your user record, your anonymous sign-in or your purchase records at RevenueCat. To have those deleted, email apps@meliharik.dev. If you can, send the email from the app (Settings > Email Us), which includes your anonymous user ID, or tell us the approximate dates of your designs, and we will find and delete them.
5. Accounts and device information
There is no sign-up. The app signs you in anonymously with Firebase Authentication and keeps a user record in Cloud Firestore with:
- Your anonymous Firebase user ID.
- The list of designs you have generated, a premium flag, and the times the record was created and you last opened the app.
- Your country code. The app gets it by sending a request to the IP lookup service ipwho.is, which sees your IP address; we store only the country code. The app uses it to pick the flag shown on its rating screen.
- Your push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
6. Other Firebase services
The app reads its settings, including the settings for the image service, from Firebase Remote Config. Firebase services such as Remote Config and Cloud Messaging create a Firebase installation ID for the app on your device. Firebase is provided by Google.
7. Purchases (RevenueCat and Apple)
Purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to show the purchase screen and to verify purchases. RevenueCat receives your purchase and subscription information, basic app and device information sent by its software kit, and your anonymous Firebase user ID, which is used as your RevenueCat user ID. We never see your payment card details.
8. Notifications
The app asks for permission to send notifications when you first open it. Your Firebase Cloud Messaging token is stored with your user record so that notifications can be sent to your device. You can turn notifications off in iOS Settings.
9. Analytics and advertising
The app has no advertising and no analytics software kit, and it does not read your advertising identifier. The services above may log technical data such as IP addresses and request times as part of normal operation.
10. Our other apps list
Settings shows a list of our other apps, fetched from a server we run on Google Cloud. Like any web request it shows your IP address to that server. No photos or personal data are sent.
11. Contacting us
Email Us in Settings opens an email to apps@meliharik.dev. The draft includes your anonymous user ID, your iOS version, the app version and whether you have Premium, so we can help. You can remove these lines before sending. We see the email address you write from and keep the conversation only as long as needed to answer you.
12. Saving and sharing
If you save a design, the app writes it to your photo library after you grant permission. If you share, the share sheet gives the image to the app you choose, and that app's policy applies.
13. What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not show ads or share data for advertising.
- We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number in the app.
14. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
15. Your choices and rights
You can deny camera, photo library and notification access in iOS Settings, use Delete All Data, or delete the app. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to its processing. Email apps@meliharik.dev to use these rights.
16. Changes
If we change what the app does with your data we will update this page and its date.
